Base Salary
$90k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work on engineering projects involving signal processing, digital communications, and/or machine learning.
- Participate in interdisciplinary research and technical programs with academic collaboration partners.
- Apply standard techniques and procedures to complete prescribed scientific and engineering tasks.
- Document work products in technical briefings and reports for customers and colleagues.
- Propose and execute internal R&D projects, participate in field work, and publish in conferences and journals when appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a closely related technical discipline, either currently pursuing or conferred within the last 12 months.
- 0–1 year of industry work experience, with relevant academic or prior internship experience accepted.
- Strong coding skills in Python or C++.
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git or Bitbucket and Linux environments.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA and submission of transcripts.
- Strong written and oral communication, teamwork, organization, time management, adaptability, and coordination skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred: pursuing or recently completing a master’s or PhD, GPA of 3.5 or higher, active security clearance, software-defined radio or GNU Radio experience, and experience designing and training machine learning models for signal processing or communications.
