Responsibilities
- Assist with deploying, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
- Support Kubernetes cluster operations and Docker-based containerized application deployments.
- Monitor cloud environments and help maintain system reliability, availability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and cloud-related issues with guidance from senior engineers.
- Support Terraform infrastructure-as-code implementations and automation for provisioning and operational tasks.
- Assist with maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines.
- Help implement cloud security best practices, IAM, access controls, monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
- Contribute to cloud resource optimization, cost management, documentation, operational procedures, and compliance activities.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Operations, and Security teams and communicate technical updates clearly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–3 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, IT infrastructure, or related roles.
- Hands-on exposure to AWS or GCP cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Terraform and basic experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of scripting or automation using Python or Bash.
- Understanding of cloud security fundamentals and networking concepts.
- Willingness to learn, troubleshoot, and grow in a cloud engineering role.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
