Responsibilities
- Define hardened images and enforce security policies via Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Maintain and audit secure infrastructure configurations based on best practices.
- Secure Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) pipelines to ensure built-in security.
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines to prevent vulnerable code deployment.
- Monitor security dashboards and logs for threats and anomalies.
- Manage network security configurations using infrastructure-as-code principles.
- Support security incident response activities including triage and post-incident analysis.
- Support the vulnerability management program and compliance activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years in cloud or infrastructure security engineering.
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Demonstrable experience securing cloud environments, preferably GCP.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming for automation tasks.
- Deep understanding of infrastructure security concepts.
- Strong understanding of network security principles.
- Ability to perform security event analysis and incident response.
