Base Salary
$80k - $95k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain manufacturing software applications, databases, reports, dashboards, and documentation.
- Administer, monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and support the MES system.
- Develop custom applications with manufacturing, engineering, quality, management, and IT teams to reduce downtime, improve productivity, and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Write advanced SQL queries to generate process metrics, reports, and live dashboards.
- Provide production-floor troubleshooting for software, workstations, and network-related issues.
- Act as the liaison between manufacturing and Corporate IT for project implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Information Technology, or a relevant degree.
- At least 2 years of programming experience, preferably including at least 1 year in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of MES and shop floor process applications.
- Experience with or knowledge of VC++, C#, Java, Python, MySQL, Tableau, and relational database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Preferred experience supporting manufacturing operations and using Microsoft Visual Studio, VS Code, SAP, Git, GitHub, GitLab, and Jira.
- Ability to troubleshoot, prioritize tasks, work independently, and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to sit or stand at a workstation or work cell for a full shift and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
