Base Salary
$206k - $211k/yr
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor base through senior-level engineers as needed and contribute to their professional development.
- Develop, design, and implement scalable software solutions and new technology-enabled systems or processes.
- Design and architect modular, scalable, and testable Android applications using Kotlin and established architecture patterns.
- Implement asynchronous application flows, optimize application performance and reliability, and maintain code quality and accessibility.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate build, testing, and release processes.
- Define architectural standards, enforce coding best practices, and conduct technical design and code reviews.
- Present technical concepts, project improvement scenarios, documentation, and business requirements to technical, non-technical, management, and director-level stakeholders.
- Evaluate technology options, vendor roadmaps, industry standards, and technology changes in support of business goals.
- Collaborate with system engineers and cross-functional engineering, product, and UX teams.
- Contribute to company intellectual property and industry professional norms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus seven years of relevant work experience.
- Alternatively, a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus five years of relevant work experience.
- Experience designing and developing large-scale Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android architecture components in compliance with Google Play publishing requirements.
- Experience architecting modular, scalable, and testable Android solutions using Clean Architecture, MVVM, Factory, Adapter, and Singleton patterns.
- Experience implementing Kotlin Coroutines and Flow for asynchronous processing, UI state management, and lifecycle-aware application behavior.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Fastlane, Docker, SonarQube, and Jenkins.
- Experience with Android build and performance tools including Gradle and Proguard, and testing frameworks including Espresso.
- Experience using Detekt, ktlint, Android Lint, GitLab, and JIRA for coding standards, static analysis, reviews, and collaboration.
- Experience providing technical leadership, defining architecture standards, and mentoring engineers.

- Telecommuting is permitted, with required onsite work in Bellevue, Washington, three to four days per week.
- The position is a regular full-time role working 40 hours per week with no anticipated national or international travel.
