Responsibilities
- Lead development and support for project initiatives within the Risk & Finance Lab.
- Perform software development and maintenance across the full software development lifecycle.
- Engage with Product Owners, Business Agility Leads, Customer Journey Managers, and integrators.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote software engineering best practices and a culture of excellence.
- Work with financial markets, capital markets, and trade services.
Requirements
- 7–15 years of experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Excellent foundation skills in C#.
- Excellent SQL experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with metrics-driven development and continuous integration and deployment.
- Experience working on software teams using formal source code control such as Git or SubVersion.
- Experience with Agile working and strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability and enthusiasm to learn large legacy systems.
- Preferred experience with Azure or GCP public cloud, HPC or grid computing, containers, Kubernetes, C# REST API or SAML interfaces, and financial products including Futures, Options, IR Swaps, and Bonds.
