Responsibilities
- Provide front-line production support for U.S. equities trading systems during overnight hours.
- Resolve order rejects, exchange connectivity issues, and other critical production incidents.
- Support and troubleshoot connectivity to U.S. exchanges and coordinate incident response with exchanges and internal teams.
- Serve as the primary technology contact during Asia trading hours and coordinate follow-the-sun coverage with global counterparts.
- Develop monitoring and diagnostic tools using Python to improve resiliency and operational efficiency.
- Participate in testing events and validate production readiness for new features.
- Collaborate with traders, engineers, development teams, and business stakeholders to resolve issues.
Requirements
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix, networking, and Python scripting.
- Understanding of equities trading, market structure, trading workflows, and the order lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and solve complex problems under pressure.
- Experience with front-office trading systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of the FIX protocol and U.S. equities market structure is preferred.
