Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services and APIs that process large volumes of flight data.
- Own features end to end from design discussions through release.
- Take technical ownership of a product area and make architectural decisions.
- Review code and mentor two or three developers earlier in their careers.
- Work with QA, product, and engineering leadership through planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to modernization of the long-lived .NET codebase and older Windows service components.
- Work across backend, frontend, and tooling components as required.
- Participate in technical interviews, paired programming, and competency-based assessment activities.
Requirements
- Around 4+ years of commercial experience building production software.
- Strong C# and .NET skills.
- Solid relational database skills, particularly with MySQL.
- Ability to work with TypeScript and Angular when needed.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving ability.
- Experience with Git and modern version-control workflows.
- Familiarity with Python, AWS, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks is useful.
- Aviation or aerospace domain knowledge is beneficial but not required.
