Base Salary

$70k - $126k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop software and techniques to protect data and networks on tactical systems and detect, identify, and potentially respond to attacks.
  • Research and develop signature- and behavior-based defensive techniques against adversarial attacks on tactical networks.
  • Collaborate with development teams and internal experts to perform deep analysis and deliver quality, performant solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, cyber engineering, or a similar field from an ABET-accredited program.
  • At least 2 years of professional development experience in C, C++, Rust, Go, or similar compiled languages.
  • At least 2 years of professional or non-professional experience with Python and various scripting languages.
  • Comfortable daily use of Linux, experience with version control tools, and knowledge of networking protocols and architecture.
  • Familiarity with iterative software design processes and associated tooling such as Jira and Jenkins.
  • Understanding of software development best practices.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites up to 20% of the time.
  • Preferred qualifications include Wireshark experience, a firm understanding of cybersecurity, basic UI/UX and web development knowledge, and certifications such as Network+, Security+, CySA+, or Linux+.
