Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of full-stack developers through technical guidance, code reviews, and hands-on support.
- Design, architect, and build full-stack applications using C#/.NET and/or Java/Spring Boot with Next.js.
- Own technical decisions and service boundaries within the microservices architecture.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and service performance.
- Guide containerized deployments and orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Establish engineering standards for code quality, testing, Git workflows, and code reviews.
- Implement observability and monitoring using Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
- Translate requirements into technical designs and tasks while supporting sprint planning and estimation.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders as the team’s primary technical contact.
- Identify and resolve technical risks, bottlenecks, and critical production issues, including root cause analysis.
- Support hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and the technical growth of team members.
- Evaluate and improve the technology stack, tooling, and engineering processes.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of professional hands-on full-stack development experience with prior experience leading or mentoring engineers.
- Strong proficiency in C# with .NET and/or Java with Spring Boot.
- Strong hands-on experience with Next.js.
- Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Solid experience with Git and collaborative branching workflows.
- Experience designing and operating microservices architectures, including service boundaries and inter-service communication.
- Production experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot in Linux environments.
- Ability to make and communicate architectural and technical trade-off decisions.
- Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki is preferred.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, cloud platforms, Docker, and additional containerization tooling is preferred.
- Prior experience as a technical lead, team lead, or engineering manager is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, judgment, and prioritization skills, plus fluency in spoken and written English.
