Responsibilities
- Design and implement code and functionality using HP NonStop Tandem, COBOL, TAL, and related utilities.
- Develop and troubleshoot functionalities on HP NonStop Tandem applications.
- Ensure application reliability, performance, and quality through automated testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and proactive optimization.
- Contribute to end-to-end delivery of business-critical initiatives and high-quality software releases.
Requirements
- 0.5–5 years of software development experience with strong expertise in COBOL and Tandem utilities.
- Proven experience designing and developing functionality on HP NonStop Tandem and troubleshooting issues.
- Strong understanding of application design and coding best practices.
- Hands-on experience with COBOL, TAL, NS-SQL, Pathways, FUP, and Enscribe.
- Preferred experience in FinTech, banking, payments, financial services, performance engineering, or high-throughput transaction processing systems.
- Strong problem-solving, research, multitasking, time-management, presentation, adaptability, and collaboration skills.
