Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the automated testing framework, including fixtures, test data setup, reporting, documentation, and contribution standards.
- Implement priority test flows beginning with administrative and auxiliary functions.
- Triage bugs and convert them into traceable regression tests with maintained inventory.
- Work with DevOps to maintain CI/CD testing across tenant deployments and environments, including periodic and on-demand execution.
- Own the quality of team contributions through code reviews and framework guidance.
- Participate in developer ceremonies, daily check-ins, and technical discussions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks for web applications.
- At least 1–2 years of experience with Playwright using TypeScript or a comparable modern framework.
- Experience running automated tests across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit, including diagnosing browser-specific failures.
- Hands-on experience setting up and maintaining test case management.
- Experience running automated tests in Bitbucket Pipelines or an equivalent CI/CD system.
- Experience creating self-sufficient tests using APIs, database seeding utilities, or the user interface.
- Preferred experience with load testing, automated security testing, accessibility testing, regulated environments, AI-assisted test generation and failure triage, and coaching QAs or developers.
- Experience testing JavaScript framework frontends such as React and Next.js and server-rendered applications.
