Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, document, and improve software test suites.
- Perform manual and automated testing in simulation and on physical semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Analyze engineering designs and system functionality against intended outcomes, providing feedback on quality, effectiveness, and performance.
- Automate, streamline, and maintain QA processes integrated with CI/CD development workflows.
- Create and implement quality standards, methods, and procedures.
- Create and manage test plans and test cases for software enhancements and defect fixes.
- Work with Process Engineering to test systems, identify appropriate usage, and define enhancements or quality improvements.
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, software testing, or test automation.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, test case management tool, and issue tracking software.
- Hands-on system quality assurance or quality engineering experience as a Quality Engineer or software developer in test, preferably with complex electromechanical equipment and integrated software controls.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ability to travel up to 10–15% of the time.
- Preferred experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, TestComplete, TestRail, Python, C++, or C#.
- Preferred experience with semiconductor equipment, software configuration management, software versioning, and CI/CD pipeline creation, execution, and maintenance.
