Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests across user interfaces, APIs, and backend systems.
- Support quality benchmarks for real-time systems and new AI features.
- Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines to support frequent, high-quality releases.
- Assist with performance, load, soak, and stress test execution and initial analysis.
- Troubleshoot test failures and system issues and investigate root causes.
- Work collaboratively with senior engineers and distributed team members.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts within established frameworks.
- Proficiency in a modern programming language and a foundation in engineering principles, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Experience testing and automating workflows across UI and API layers.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and ideally modern frontend frameworks.
- Understanding of application state patterns, data flows, and reactivity or observables, including technologies such as Pinia, Vuex, or Redux.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and WebSockets and a solid understanding of web development principles.
- Familiarity with CI/CD principles and practical experience contributing to or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, prioritization, collaboration, and learning skills.
- TypeScript and Playwright experience is preferred; Jenkins, soak or performance testing, video or streaming technologies, hardware automation, and mobile or web automation are bonuses.
