Responsibilities
- Lead engineering efforts to deliver innovative storage solutions.
- Support the creation and operations of distributed systems.
- Program in Go and other languages.
- Collaborate with a motivated team of peers.
- Contribute to free/open source software communities.
- Solve interesting problems in a technically rewarding environment.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience developing, testing, and shipping well-engineered code, with Go as a plus.
- 4+ years of experience automating, operating, and troubleshooting production systems.
- 2+ years of experience with Linux operating systems and familiarity with storage fundamentals.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- 1+ years of experience leading discussions on architectures and design patterns.
- Familiarity with concurrency and parallelism models in modern programming languages.
- Experience with gRPC, S3, and distributed storage systems such as Ceph.
- 1+ years of experience designing and operating network-distributed storage products.
- Competency in virtualization storage stacks, such as snapshots and layers.
- 1+ years of experience with Linux virtualization, emphasizing libvirt and QEMU.
