Responsibilities
- Program and configure PLC systems, focusing on logic development.
- Translate electrical schematics into program logic and logic connections.
- Create and adjust basic HMI interfaces for operator touch panels.
- Perform simulations, testing, debugging, and PLC/HMI diagnostics.
- Support test setup and troubleshooting involving network components and software adjustments.
- Support in-house and customer-site commissioning.
- Adapt automation solutions to customer requirements.
- Design, test, and adjust communication protocols and integrate Sécheron systems with customer SCADA systems.
- Collaborate with commissioning engineers and international teams.
Requirements
- High school or university degree in Automation, Programming, or IT.
- Practical experience and knowledge of HMI and PLC systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and translate them into logic connections.
- Basic knowledge of industrial communication protocols.
- Communicative English at B2 level or higher is mandatory.
- German language knowledge is advantageous.
- Valid driving license.
- Experience in a similar position, network architecture involving programmable switches, and traction power systems knowledge are advantageous.
