Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end and back-end application features.
- Design, code, test, validate, and document software solutions and program specifications.
- Troubleshoot application defects and production issues, implement corrective actions, and escalate alternative solutions when needed.
- Optimize application performance and support reliable software delivery.
- Apply development best practices, security standards, and PCI compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams across design, development, testing, and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 4+ years of software development experience, including coding, application design, and data analysis.
- Experience with modern programming languages, APIs, external services, and relational and NoSQL databases.
- Strong problem-solving, testing, troubleshooting, and software optimization skills.
- Ability to contribute across the full software development lifecycle.
- Enterprise software development and development lifecycle tool experience is a plus.
- Additional preferred experience includes enterprise operating systems, Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, IMS, DB2, Hadoop, DDL, DML, Java, Python, .NET, Ruby, Mainframe COBOL, Mainframe Assembler, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CICS, Node.js, React.js, Angular, Redux, Eclipse, Visual Studio, Webpack, Babel, Gulp, iOS, Android, machine learning technologies, R, MATLAB, TensorFlow, and D.
