Responsibilities
- Own the quality of assigned products and features across functionality, usability, and business fit.
- Perform manual testing of web applications across browsers and devices, including functionality, usability, accessibility, and performance.
- Test critical user flows, REST APIs, integrations, analytics tracking, and third-party systems.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and regression suites.
- Report defects with clear reproduction steps, context, and impact.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to clarify requirements and identify incomplete logic.
- Identify automation opportunities and contribute to automated regression coverage.
- Improve QA processes, tools, and release practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience testing web applications.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and the software development life cycle.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP, cookies, caching, and client-server architecture.
- Experience using browser DevTools, including elements, network, console, and storage tools.
- Experience testing REST APIs with Postman or Insomnia.
- Experience with Jira or similar bug-tracking and test management tools.
- Ability to use AI tools for test design and analysis while verifying their output.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, curiosity, and proactive judgment.
- Preferred: experience with Playwright or Cypress, performance testing, WordPress, caching layers, Docker, WP-CLI, CI/CD pipelines, and event, ticketing, or payment flows.
