Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and maintain large-scale security systems across the company’s ecosystem.
- Research and improve security capabilities through new tooling and enhancements.
- Develop automation to reduce manual alert triage.
- Conduct detection engineering across endpoints, infrastructure, networks, and cloud environments.
- Investigate alerts and incidents using digital forensics, malware analysis, and threat intelligence.
- Lead incident response for intrusion attempts and suspicious activity in collaboration with multiple teams.
- Participate in red team exercises and threat simulations to identify security gaps and improve team capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience in a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience in incident response, detection engineering, or related security disciplines.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Rust, and/or Go.
- Practical experience with BeyondCorp or Zero Trust security models.
- Expertise in one or more areas including digital forensics, malware analysis, incident management and response, host or network intrusion detection, network telemetry, threat intelligence, or threat hunting.
- Operating-system internals experience across at least two of macOS, Windows, and Linux, including file and disk structures, forensics, security controls, hardening, scripting, and binary analysis.
- Advanced cloud knowledge with the ability to build, deploy, and investigate security events across at least two of AWS, Kubernetes, and GCP.
