Responsibilities
- Develop software maintenance and upgrade solutions for tactical systems.
- Participate in all activities associated with the software development lifecycle.
- Support applicable process requirements and technical reviews.
- Work collaboratively on a team using agile software development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field, or equivalent related work experience.
- 8–10 years of experience in software development, maintenance, or support in the listed architecture, operating environment, modeling, assurance, analysis, and systems integration areas.
- Experience developing software with Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience with scaled agile principles.
- Experience with object-oriented design and development, design patterns, software insulation techniques, and plugins.
- Experience working with Linux and UNIX environments.
- Strong skills with integrated development environments such as Eclipse.
- Familiarity with UML syntax and its use.
- Familiarity with driver-based and automated test environments.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a government secret clearance or other required authorization.
- Preferred experience with ClearCase, JIRA, xUnit Framework, JUnit, CPPUnitLite, CMMI Level 5 lifecycle processes and procedures, or assemblers.
