Responsibilities
- Design target Azure cloud and infrastructure architectures, including enterprise Azure Landing Zones.
- Define network, security, identity, governance, operational, sovereignty, compliance, and resilience models.
- Support migrations to Azure and hybrid-cloud initiatives involving Azure Arc and Azure Local.
- Build self-service Azure platforms, reusable cloud service catalogs, and standardized Terraform or Bicep deployment models.
- Industrialize deployments through GitHub and Azure DevOps and implement DevSecOps, monitoring, logging, and observability standards.
- Contribute to Internal Developer Platforms and improve developer experience.
- Lead architecture decisions, facilitate customer workshops, mentor cloud consultants and engineers, and contribute to presales and Azure Platform offerings.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in infrastructure, architecture, or cloud, including at least 7 years with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience as an architect or technical lead on Landing Zones, Azure migrations, cloud governance, or Platform Engineering programs.
- Expertise in CAF/WAF, Azure Landing Zones, Azure networking, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure security, Azure Monitor, Azure Backup and Disaster Recovery, Azure governance, Azure Arc, and infrastructure as code.
- Expertise with Terraform and GitHub or Azure DevOps, plus cloud automation and DevSecOps practices.
- Required certifications: AZ-305 Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, and Terraform Associate.
- Preferred experience includes Azure Local, AKS, Azure Virtual Desktop, FinOps, Backstage, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, FluxCD, SRE, and advanced observability.
- Recommended or appreciated certifications include AZ-500, AZ-700, AZ-400, SC-100, FinOps Certified Practitioner, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, and TOGAF 9 Foundation.
