Base Salary
$82k - $172k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support services using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Build, optimize, and maintain production-grade CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Jenkins.
- Develop and maintain automation through scripting and other tools.
- Configure and tune groups, application gateways, and protective cloud controls.
- Manage compute, storage, networking, and database services across cloud environments while following security and compliance frameworks.
- Integrate testing into engineering pipelines and collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts.
- Establish and enforce security best practices for system implementations and data privacy.
- Provision Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes environments across cloud, data center, and edge environments.
- Conduct trade studies to select secure, supportable, performant, and cost-effective technology solutions.
- Scale existing platforms and address integration requirements with other teams.
- Work with Security to maintain compliance and develop secure solutions.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
- A BS/BA plus five years of experience, or equivalent experience, is required.
- At least five years of cloud or infrastructure engineering experience is required.
- Extensive hands-on experience with one or more of OpenShift, AWS, GCP, or Rancher is required.
- Expert Terraform skills or similar Infrastructure as Code experience are required.
- Production Kubernetes cluster operations experience supporting processing workloads is required.
- Experience with Docker or Podman containers and GitLab or Jenkins pipelines is required.
- Scripting or programming abilities are required.
- Experience with GitOps and Argo CD is required.
- Linux and Red Hat knowledge is desired.
- Digital Twin systems experience is desired.
- Elastic Stack, Elastic, Logstash, Kibana, or similar experience is desired.
- Experience with continuous monitoring and automated security tools is desired.
- Strong communication skills for presenting to senior leadership are desired.
