Base Salary
$180k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers to build and review performance benchmarking requirements and metrics.
- Research and develop performance benchmarking and debugging strategies.
- Analyze system performance issues and recommend optimization solutions.
- Work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- MS in Computer Science or related technical field, or BS with comparable experience.
- 3+ years of experience in system level performance testing for servers, storage, and databases.
- Experience in systems performance analysis using techniques like CPU profiling and standard Linux tools.
- Experience in running benchmarks and analyzing results.
- Extensive knowledge of operating systems, scheduling policies, and x86 hardware architecture.
- Strong experience with Linux systems and common command/utilities.
- Prior experience in Python and C++ is preferred.
- Prior experience with NAND flash and FIO is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
