Responsibilities
- Ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Conduct code reviews to assess coding-standard compliance and identify issues or vulnerabilities.
- Perform manual and automated testing of web applications for functionality, performance, usability, and compatibility.
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to resolve defects and implement improvements.
- Provide feedback and recommendations on code quality and best practices.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
- Help define project scope, schedules, and resource requirements.
- Create and maintain documentation for testing processes and results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience working as a QA engineer in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and web frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or Docker.
- Proficiency with Git.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium or Postman.
- Knowledge of web application security best practices and testing methodologies.
- Strong communication, collaboration, independent-working, ownership, and attention-to-detail skills.
