Responsibilities
- Apply LLM-based test generation, copilots, and agent frameworks to automate test authoring, failure triage, and coverage analysis.
- Develop test strategies, test plans, and structured test cases based on product requirements and partner use cases.
- Validate full-stack behavior across China-specific deployment environments and local partner integrations.
- Lead robot hardware bring-up, factory software validation, calibration, diagnostics, and manufacturing acceptance testing.
- Execute end-to-end testing of GR00T-based robot action policies, including policy rollout, sim-to-real fidelity, and teleoperation data quality.
- Support robot learning data collection and infrastructure while building dashboards and automation for test coverage, fleet health, and data pipeline quality.
- Track, document, regress, and perform root-cause analysis on internal and external bugs, producing statistical quality reports.
- Collaborate with global Engineering and QA teams and Chinese robot OEM and partner engineering teams.
- Manage laboratory robot fleets, including hardware and software updates.
Requirements
- Master’s or equivalent degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, electronics and communication engineering, or electrical and electronics engineering.
- At least 3–4+ years of hands-on software QA or test engineering experience.
- Experience with embedded or robotics software stacks.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or C/C++, including writing scripts and code from scratch.
- Solid Linux fundamentals, including shell scripting, system debugging, process tools, and network tools.
- Knowledge of robotics perception, navigation, manipulation, simulation, and robotics simulator test-scenario development.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or LLM-based agents for test generation or QA workflow automation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English, with the ability to work with Chinese robot OEM and partner engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience with functional safety standards, particularly ISO 26262, in autonomous systems.
- Preferred experience with Chinese robot platforms, robot OEM ecosystems, reinforcement learning, sim-to-real transfer, robot learning, GR00T-based policy inference pipelines, open-source robotics projects, or ROS community packages.
