Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end remote sensing processing systems for EO/IR missions.
- Lead radiometric and spectral response modeling and advanced imaging algorithms, including super-resolution, deconvolution, phenomenology detection, and low-SNR enhancement.
- Direct machine-learning systems for anomaly detection, behavior classification, object discrimination, imagery processing, target detection, and tracking.
- Design multi-sensor fusion pipelines using GEOINT, Radar, RF, and optical data with Bayesian or machine-learning methods.
- Lead trajectory estimation and 3D kinematic modeling, including IOD, parallax exploitation, and uncertainty quantification.
- Architect scalable scientific computing solutions using Python, C++, CUDA, HPC clusters, or cloud-native platforms.
- Mentor junior engineers and help define technical road maps with client and mission leadership.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in remote sensing, image or signal processing, or GEOINT data exploitation.
- Experience with orbital mechanics, satellite characterization, domain-specific applications, or SDA operational workflows.
- Experience with Python, scientific Python packages, or object-oriented languages such as C++ or JavaScript.
- Experience architecting large-scale software environments such as CUDA, HPC, or cloud platforms.
- Experience with machine-learning systems for imagery processing, target detection, tracking, or object classification.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related STEM field.
- TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph.
- Preferred experience includes missile warning or tracking missions, synthetic model development and training, EO/IR/RF/Radar/GEOINT track integration, uncertainty quantification, Kalman filtering, tracking algorithms, AI-augmented development workflows, or agentic tools.
- Publications, whitepapers, presentations, or mission briefings are desirable.
- A master’s degree or Ph.D. in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is desirable.
