Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and services within Microsoft Azure.
- Build RAG pipelines and integrate Snowflake Cortex and Azure AI with enterprise data architectures.
- Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and semi-structured data using Azure Data Factory and Snowpipe.
- Provision and manage Snowflake compute warehouses, platform security, RBAC, and cost governance.
- Partner with Data Scientists, MLOps, and business stakeholders to operationalize AI use cases from proofs of concept through production.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code and automate workflows using Azure DevOps and Terraform.
- Lead coordination between IT functions and manufacturing operations and manage large projects through full implementation.
- Manage team members, deadlines, and milestones; configure servers and databases; and preserve data integrity.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and at least 12 years of experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or mathematics with 8+ years of experience, or an associate degree with 10+ years of experience, preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in project management, implementation, people management, and mentorship.
- Hands-on experience building AI models in Snowflake and developing Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Experience with business intelligence, data warehousing, cloud data architectures, and Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Strong coding skills in Python, SQL, and occasionally JavaScript or Scala.
- Experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Snowpark, LangChain, or vector databases.
- Familiarity with data modeling, query optimization, warehouse sizing, and data security frameworks.
- Knowledge of DevOps merging and branching practices.
- Microsoft training or certification is considered an asset.
- Strong logical reasoning, problem-solving, communication, organization, adaptability, and attention to detail.
