Responsibilities
- Modernize and scale FTSE Russell’s cloud-native, low-latency technology platforms.
- Develop software using Java, Python, C++, C#, or similar technologies.
- Work across software engineering, data engineering, cloud and platform engineering, SRE, AI and machine learning, DevOps and automation, distributed systems, and analytics platforms.
- Use cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and apply automation, testing, and modern engineering practices.
- Use AI-assisted development tooling to improve engineering productivity while maintaining engineering control.
- Collaborate across global teams to deliver reliable, high-quality technology and data platforms.
Requirements
- Experience developing software using Java, Python, C++, C#, or similar technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, automation, testing, and modern engineering practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted development tooling.
- Interest in AI and emerging technologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
