Responsibilities
- Specify, manage, maintain, and update software requirements.
- Derive requirements in a systems-engineering context.
- Train and coach development teams in requirements engineering.
- Moderate requirements workshops with project managers, architects, developers, and test engineers.
- Ensure requirements traceability and conduct requirements reviews.
- Track acceptance criteria and update requirements through the change-management process.
- Improve requirements methods, processes, tools, work instructions, and internal standards.
Requirements
- Completed engineering degree in electrical engineering, physics, physical engineering, medical engineering, or a comparable field.
- Several years of practical requirements-engineering experience in an agile environment.
- Knowledge of functional-safety requirements for software development and embedded-systems development.
- Proficiency with requirements-management tools such as Polarion and DOORS.
- Knowledge of relevant standards and FDA software guidance, including IEC 62304, IEC 60601, IEC 61508, ISO 26262, and DO-178.
- Basic programming knowledge in C/C++.
- Knowledge of agile development approaches, preferably Scrum, and fundamentals of secure software development.
- Very good German and English language skills.
