Base Salary
$184k - $257k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, design, operations, and infrastructure teams to build application experiences.
- Implement custom user interfaces using current programming techniques and technologies.
- Analyze and optimize code for quality, efficiency, and performance, and participate in code reviews.
- Set team direction and goals, lead major initiatives, provide technical guidance and mentorship, and onboard new team members.
- Architect efficient and scalable systems for complex applications.
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues and reduce technical debt.
- Work across multiple programming languages and technologies.
- Own components, features, or systems with expert end-to-end understanding.
Requirements
- Use data and analysis to explain technical problems and provide detailed feedback and solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated experience driving organizational change and leading complex technical projects.
- 8+ years of programming experience in a relevant language, or 4+ years of experience with a PhD.
- Preferred experience improving quality through code reviews, testing, rollouts, monitoring, and proactive changes.
- Preferred experience integrating AI tools to optimize or redesign workflows and drive measurable impact.
- Preferred 6+ years of relevant experience building large-scale infrastructure applications or similar experience.
- Preferred programming experience with C, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, or Hack.
- Preferred ongoing AI skill development, including prompt/context engineering and agent orchestration.
- Preferred experience implementing responsible and ethical AI practices, including risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality and accuracy reviews.
Benefits
- Base salary of $183,997 to $257,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
