Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end application lifecycle activities including configuration management, builds, releases, and deployments.
- Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Terraform Cloud.
- Configure and deploy applications across cloud and on-premises environments using virtual machines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Create and maintain automation scripts to improve DevOps efficiency.
- Provide Level 3 production support, including periodic and emergency support, and resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with the Platform Delivery Team, Application Development Team, and external stakeholders, including through pair programming.
- Document technical knowledge, contribute to workshops and mentoring, and support continuous process improvement.
- Maintain working knowledge of ADMS and related Eurofins systems, processes, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least three years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Software Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Working knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps or Jira, on-premises infrastructure, Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Experience with deployment tools and pipelines including Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy.
- Knowledge of configuration management database administration and service operational procedures.
- Working knowledge of data management and database administration using SQL and NoSQL systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a distributed team environment, with fluent English.
- Preferred experience in enterprise DevOps environments, cloud migration projects, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Advanced coding or software development skills, particularly in .NET, are preferred.
- Conversational proficiency in Portuguese, French, Mandarin, Vietnamese, or Hindi is preferred.
