Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and evolution of large-scale iOS applications and platform capabilities.
- Serve as the technical expert for iOS architecture, mobile frameworks, performance, security, and reliability.
- Drive technical strategy and influence engineering decisions across multiple teams and value streams.
- Lead complex, high-risk engineering projects and major technical initiatives with cross-functional dependencies.
- Identify and resolve system-level issues while addressing root causes and preventing recurrence.
- Own service health, operational excellence, and incident management across multiple products or teams.
- Review and approve high-level architecture and design decisions.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across teams.
- Partner with Product, UX, Platform, and Engineering leaders to deliver business outcomes.
- Improve engineering processes, practices, standards, scalability, and operational manageability.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in iOS development using Swift and modern iOS frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of mobile architecture patterns, APIs, security, performance optimization, and application lifecycle management.
- Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and deliver innovative solutions.
- Experience leading large-scale engineering initiatives across multiple teams.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, CI/CD, testing, observability, and operational excellence.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated mentorship and technical leadership experience.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and influence organizational direction.
