Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Golang services supporting core product workflows.
- Design APIs and data pipelines used by AI and reasoning systems.
- Improve system performance, reliability, and observability.
- Review and challenge designs for simplicity and scalability.
- Debug production issues quickly and rigorously.
- Own critical services end to end and influence architecture decisions.
- Mentor other engineers as experience in the role develops.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of backend engineering experience.
- Strong production experience with Golang.
- Startup experience working on a core product.
- Experience with data-heavy systems.
- Comfort using AI-assisted coding tools daily.
- Fintech or investment-domain exposure.
- Preferred: experience supporting ML or LLM systems.
- Preferred: distributed systems or low-latency data pipeline experience.
