Responsibilities
- Collaborate with AMD architecture specialists to improve future products.
- Use data-driven analysis to identify and prioritize optimization opportunities.
- Design and develop new AMD technologies.
- Participate in ASIC and hardware bring-up activities.
- Debug and fix existing issues while researching more efficient solutions.
- Track software and hardware trends related to algorithms and architecture.
- Build technical relationships with peers and partners.
- Drive complex technical issues to resolution and provide technical leadership.
Requirements
- Strong object-oriented programming background, preferably in C/C++.
- Experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs.
- Experience developing for Windows, Linux, and/or Android.
- Ability to write high-quality code with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with debuggers, source code control systems such as GitHub, and profilers is preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
