Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain MES applications using C#, .NET Framework/Core, and Web APIs.
- Create and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, database schemas, and performance tuning solutions.
- Implement responsive front-end components using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Integrate external systems including SAP, PLCs, and SCADA into MES architectures.
- Gather requirements, participate in system design and code reviews, and document technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot application issues in manufacturing environments and support system performance, security, and coding best practices.
- Collaborate with process engineers and production teams to understand MES requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing with C#, .NET, and Web APIs.
- Proficiency with MS SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Strong JavaScript and front-end development experience.
- Experience with or exposure to MES systems such as Aveva/Wonderware, Rockwell FT, or Siemens Opcenter.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and shop floor integration.
- Familiarity with OPC, PLC communication, and industrial data protocols is preferred.
- Knowledge of GitHub Copilot, Azure DevOps, source code management, and release management through branching.
- Preferred experience in pharmaceutical, food and beverage, or discrete manufacturing.
- Preferred knowledge of ISA-95, 21 CFR Part 11, GMP compliance, reporting tools, dashboards, or historian systems.
