Responsibilities
- Design, train, evaluate, deploy, and iterate on production machine learning and AI models.
- Improve price prediction models trained on millions of price data points.
- Develop ranking, search, and retrieval systems matching subcontractors with tenders.
- Build and improve LLM-powered agentic systems for complex tendering workflows.
- Design offline evaluations, run online A/B tests, and drive metrics-led iteration.
- Ship models, backend services, APIs, and web-app integrations to real users.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to turn business problems into ML/AI features.
- Monitor, alert on, and continuously improve production ML and AI systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building, training, and shipping classical machine learning and deep learning models in production.
- 5+ years of production-grade Python development experience.
- Strong background with a modern deep learning framework, ideally PyTorch.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM and agent systems, including RAG, tool use, multi-step reasoning, and evaluations.
- Comfort with TypeScript, React, and Node for web-app integration.
- Experience shipping complete production features and owning the path from research code to users.
- Ability to evaluate models using offline metrics and online A/B tests.
- Experience with search, ranking, recommendation, or pricing models is a bonus.
- Experience with embedding models, fine-tuning, or large-scale model training is a bonus.
- Exposure to construction, procurement, or marketplaces is a bonus.
