- Develop and maintain configuration files defining vehicle Control and Data plane operation.
- Design and maintain software pipelines that verify vehicle data and control plane parameters.
- Build tools to ingest, cross-check, manage changes to, and release data-recording configuration files.
- Create automated workflows for verifying configuration parameters.
- Document configuration parameters, boundaries, optimal values, and system-level impacts.
- Support CI/CD and DevOps initiatives for automated integration, testing, and release.
- Analyze vehicle data logs to identify discrepancies and optimize system performance.
- Contribute to improvements in vehicle data-recording and analytics software.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Must be enrolled in a co-op program and meet its eligibility requirements.
- Must be available to work 40 hours per week for an 8- or 12-month consecutive-semester term starting January 2027.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and not require current or future sponsorship.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C/C++.
- Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and workflow automation.
- Understanding of logging and data-processing concepts, with strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience with calibration or configuration tools and processes.
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, and their logging services.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools, knowledge of embedded software development and optimization, or contributions to data-intensive open-source projects are preferred.
