Responsibilities
- Build and test backend services and products using Haskell and JVM ecosystem technologies.
- Design highly available, low-latency, and scalable cloud services on AWS.
- Implement automated software delivery using GitHub Actions, container-based CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes.
- Develop and ship scalable features within a service-oriented architecture.
- Build platform services that support and accelerate product development.
- Deliver reliable and maintainable software through iterative development and continuous delivery.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Preferably experience in the JVM ecosystem and production experience with Haskell.
- Strong understanding of functional programming concepts including pure functions, algebraic data types, and monadic effects.
- Hands-on experience with the Haskell toolchain, including GHC, Cabal or Stack, and common libraries.
- Experience developing and shipping scalable features in a service-oriented architecture.
- Experience building platform or foundation services is a plus.
