Responsibilities
- Design complex infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices while considering scalability, maintainability, and operational experience.
- Establish and monitor Service Level Objectives, Service Level Indicators, and error budgets to improve reliability and performance.
- Lead incident response efforts, conduct blameless post-mortems, and implement measures to reduce Mean Time to Recovery.
- Troubleshoot medium- to high-complexity infrastructure issues using technical judgment and AI-powered tools.
- Implement AIOps and AI-enhanced DevOps practices to improve operational intelligence and reliability.
- Use GitHub Actions or similar tools for workflow automation and CI/CD.
- Collaborate with development, operations, product, data engineering, and business teams to implement reliability standards.
- Develop and maintain runbooks, documentation, knowledge bases, and reusable enterprise reliability solutions.
- Manage AWS infrastructure, databases, and Kubernetes-based container orchestration and resilience patterns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Extensive experience with AWS, including EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation.
- In-depth knowledge of Amazon RDS and database engines including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes for container orchestration, management, and resilience patterns.
- Proven experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and leading incident response.
- Ability to collaborate across technical and business teams and translate business continuity needs into reliability requirements.
