Responsibilities
- Develop and support modern, first-class cloud-based platforms for financial services projects.
- Build front-end applications using JavaScript or TypeScript and modern web frameworks.
- Implement responsive interfaces, state management, asynchronous requests, and partial page updates.
- Deploy containerized applications through CI/CD pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Apply web security standards, protocols, and techniques.
- Debug and resolve application issues.
- Coach and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate as a team member on projects for major banking clients.
Requirements
- Exceptional experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, including ES5, ES6, and ES2017.
- Experience with React, Angular, Vue, or Svelte, with React preferred.
- Experience with CSS, SASS or LESS, Bootstrap, SemanticUI, MaterialUI, responsive design, CSS Grid, and Flexbox.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, TLS, encryption, networks, and other security technologies, protocols, and techniques.
- Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
- Experience with at least one state management tool: Redux, Flux, or MobX; Redux is preferred.
- Experience configuring task runners such as Webpack or Grunt; Webpack is preferred.
- Experience with Mocha, Jasmine, Chai, Jest, or Enzyme testing frameworks.
- Experience deploying containerized applications in CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience coaching and mentoring junior developers.
- Strong debugging and application issue-resolution skills.
- Knowledge of cloud concepts, capabilities, and design considerations.
