Responsibilities

Become familiar with the USB protocol stack and its implementation.
Help develop embedded audio platform functionality and new features.
Diagnose and root-cause field issues and bugs.
Develop and update code in C/C++.
Develop scripts, testing frameworks, and utility code in C and Python.
Participate in code and requirements reviews.
Collaborate with DSP, systems engineering, and hardware engineering teams to support development and understanding.

Be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Have experience programming in C/C++.
Experience with Python and ARM assembly language is a plus.
Experience with USB, I2S, I2C, and UART communication protocols is a plus.
Experience with real-time operating systems, embedded hardware, and microcontrollers is a plus.
Experience reading hardware schematics and product datasheets is a plus.
Coursework in lab-based embedded design, robotics, or programming and familiarity with programming and debugging microcontrollers are recommended.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Twelve-week Summer 2027 internship program.
Hybrid work arrangement based in Niles, Illinois.
