Base Salary
$120k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of consumer-facing Tinder app features.
- Build in-app experiences serving millions of users globally.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to influence the app and services roadmap.
- Contribute to internal shared frameworks and libraries.
- Develop optimized analytics capabilities and data tools for analytics and data science teams.
- Evolve architecture supporting multiple authentication flows and account management.
- Mentor, collaborate with, and learn from other team members.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience building consumer-facing applications with native iOS.
- Full lifecycle application development experience using Swift.
- Proficiency with Swift concepts including structs, optionals, and generics.
- Experience building user-facing features with Auto Layout.
- Familiarity with MVVM, Clean, and similar architecture patterns.
- Knowledge of iOS memory management and protocol-oriented programming.
- Experience building and testing large-scale iOS applications or codebases.
- Proficiency writing unit tests.
- Clear, solutions-oriented communication and a commitment to code quality.
- Willingness to collaborate in an Agile environment.
- Preferred: experience building public APIs and mobile SDKs.
- Preferred: knowledge of URLSession, Core Data, and Core Animation.
- Preferred: experience improving legacy code and implementing solutions-oriented improvements.
- Preferred: familiarity with In-App Purchases, StoreKit, or premium iOS app features.
- A BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred but not required.
