Base Salary

$130k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Plan, build, and ship product features from conception through launch and iterate using customer feedback.
  • Improve the performance, reliability, and quality of experiences used by millions of users and thousands of organizations.
  • Run experiments supporting activation, retention, collaboration, and revenue in partnership with design, data science, and research.
  • Build internal tools and platform improvements that help engineers ship quickly and safely.
  • Contribute to team norms, code quality, learning, and thoughtful technical tradeoffs.
  • Work on core product features, AI and automation, growth and activation, or platform and infrastructure depending on team placement.

Requirements

  • Less than two years of engineering experience.
  • Solid fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
  • Ability to solve problems thoughtfully, navigate ambiguity, decompose complex problems, and balance technical and business considerations.
  • Customer-minded, pragmatic approach to technology and problem solving.
  • Proactive communication, initiative, and ability to independently drive work forward.
  • Experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, Postgres, or Elasticsearch is a nice-to-have.
  • Interest in the relationship between technology and society is a plus.
