Responsibilities
- Scale Retool’s core cloud platform for global availability and performance.
- Deliver infrastructure for core and emerging products across cloud and on-premise deployments.
- Automate developer processes, workflows, and productivity tooling.
- Support production systems and build monitoring and observability capabilities.
- Develop new data solutions and scale relational databases.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and help prioritize the platform roadmap.
Requirements
- Track record of delivering engineering projects and process improvements.
- Experience scaling cloud infrastructure and relational databases, preferably Postgres.
- Experience with Linux, Docker, containerd, docker-compose, and Kubernetes.
- Experience building and productionizing developer productivity tools, frameworks, and platform systems.
- Knowledge of cloud and on-premise environments, traffic routing, service architecture, and multi-region setups.
- Experience with Node, Postgres, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong collaborative, pragmatic, solution-oriented, and adaptable working style.
