Responsibilities
- Implement distributed ML experimentation and training platforms for firm-wide use.
- Build and support tools and workflows for ML experimentation, automated training runs, production deployment, serving, and monitoring.
- Extend machine learning libraries and frameworks for complex experimentation, training, and serving requirements.
- Deliver APIs and SDKs that improve the data scientist experience on the firm-wide ML platform.
- Collaborate with infrastructure engineering, product management, security, and compliance teams.
- Apply DevOps practices to ML engineering workflows.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of Generative AI experience.
- At least 3 years of applied experience with machine learning concepts, supported by formal training or certification.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Python programming and knowledge of the Python software development lifecycle.
- Experience with ML frameworks and libraries such as Ray, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn.
- Knowledge of model development processes and lifecycle management in ML environments.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud technologies, especially AWS, across featurization, experimentation, training, evaluation, deployment, serving, and monitoring.
- Prior experience leveraging Copilot or Claude for code generation.
- Preferred knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, Airflow, SageMaker, EMR, AWS ML services, Kubernetes, EKS, Helm Charts, and Custom Operators.
- Strong preferred experience implementing DevOps practices with Docker, Jenkins, Spinnaker, and Terraform.
