Base Salary
$159k - $238k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional Product, Design, and Engineering initiatives delivering end-to-end user-facing features.
- Define Vue 3/React frontend standards, including component architecture, build system APIs, state and GraphQL data patterns, performance budgets, and WCAG-aligned accessibility.
- Design and evolve GraphQL schemas and APIs aligned with product workflows.
- Build backend changes in C#/.NET and/or Node.js and data model changes in Postgres and MongoDB.
- Mentor engineers through pairing, code reviews, and design reviews.
- Participate in on-call and incident response while driving root-cause fixes and security-by-default practices.
- Develop and share effective workflows for using, instructing, and validating AI agents in software development.
Requirements
- 7+ years of building and shipping web products across frontend and backend.
- Strong experience with Vue 3 and/or React, TypeScript, large codebases, and accessible UI development.
- Experience defining state management, component architecture, and design systems.
- Experience designing GraphQL/REST APIs and implementing services with C#/.NET and/or Node.js.
- Experience with Postgres/SQL and MongoDB, plus production operations in AWS.
- Proven ability to lead cross-team execution through design documents, technical discussions, partner alignment, and mentoring.
- Hands-on experience using AI agents for production delivery, including validating and correcting AI-generated code.
- Preferred experience with event-driven patterns, queues or pub-sub, decomposing .NET/C# monoliths into distributed services, and SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of or curiosity about Wizards brands such as Magic: The Gathering is a plus.
