Base Salary
$158k - $238k/yr
Responsibilities
- Extend training and runtime frameworks and model-efficiency tools with new features and optimizations.
- Architect and develop machine learning hardware co-designed with machine learning software for inference and training.
- Develop optimized machine learning kernels, compiler tools, and model-efficiency software for hardware-based AI deployment.
- Apply machine learning techniques to products and AI solutions and help customers use them.
- Prototype novel machine learning solutions aligned with product proposals and roadmaps.
- Conduct experiments to train and evaluate machine learning models and software.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and cross-functional teams.
- Provide supervision and guidance to other team members and influence decisions beyond the immediate work group.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field plus 4+ years of relevant experience; or a master's degree plus 3+ years; or a PhD plus 2+ years.
- 5+ years of experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Caffe, Caffe2, PyTorch, or Keras.
- 5+ years of embedded-system development and optimization experience applied to an ML problem domain such as NLP or multimedia.
- 5+ years of experience with ML-suitable programming languages such as Python, R, C, or C++.
- 5+ years of experience using statistics and probability.
- 3+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
- 2+ years of experience with low-level interactions between operating systems and hardware, including Linux, Android, or QNX.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, technical leadership experience, and experience interacting with senior leadership.
