Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable, performant, and secure software solutions.
- Contribute to product definition, system design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing operations.
- Identify root causes of operational issues and drive permanent reliability improvements.
- Collaborate with customers, product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver appropriate solutions.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing and produce maintainable documentation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience in software design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
