Responsibilities
- Influence the roadmap and development of applications and data pipelines.
- Deploy and maintain performant AI/ML services.
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain high-quality, reliable, and maintainable software.
- Apply unit, integration, and performance testing practices.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product engineers, and users to enable new AI capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership through mentoring and collaboration across engineering teams.
Requirements
- Have a background in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics, with at least three years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
- Practical experience with RDBMS, NoSQL, and vector databases or stores.
- Experience with software deployment and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Understanding of domain-driven design, microservice patterns, and service-oriented architectures.
- Technical leadership experience, such as mentoring engineers or driving collaboration with other engineering teams.
- Preferred experience with Flask or FastAPI.
- Preferred experience designing and maintaining reliable, high-throughput data pipelines.
- Preferred experience deploying and maintaining AI/ML services, including LLM services via vLLM.
