Base Salary
$129k - $129k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design, build, and operate customer-focused products and services.
- Design and develop scalable cloud-native solutions using microservices in large distributed computing environments.
- Build and maintain resilient, scalable, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective distributed systems.
- Develop and maintain tooling and automation supporting operations across Amazon Dedicated Cloud regions.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and technical documentation.
- Write clean, maintainable code using software development best practices and design patterns.
- Use GenAI and AI-powered tools to improve development productivity.
- Participate in CI/CD, monitoring, troubleshooting, production issue resolution, and on-call operations.
Requirements
- Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language such as Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, or TypeScript.
- Experience with data structure implementation, basic algorithm development, and/or object-oriented design principles.
- Currently enrolled in or having completed a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or asylee due to export control requirements.
- Must obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph, with sponsorship provided for commensurate agency clearances.
- Preferred qualifications include technical internship or project experience, experience with AI development tools, cloud platforms, database systems, open-source projects, debugging complex systems, or version control.
- Preferred qualifications include problem-solving, analytical, written and verbal communication, adaptability, and basic SDLC understanding.
